Living 02 by ~HAWF is one of the cleanest renders I've come across in a long while. Everything from the modelling to the texture work to the lighting -- it's all so wonderfully done that one cannot help but feel at home when viewing this remarkable 3D render. (Featured by `bluespeed9)

The curtains need a little randomizing - they wouldn't naturally hang quite like that. Perhaps a noise modifier? That's not the only way, it's just a suggestion.

Other than that, looks really good. I haven't quite got used to vray yet, but i think i need to. How long did this take to render? How does vray's rendering times compare with other renders (e.g. Mental Ray)?

I could really randomize the curtains, but in the foray he/she didn't have way.
The rendertime, took 4 hours in my humble pc, one Athlon 1.2 with 512ram and VGA Gforce MX 200 (32mb). Ahh.. the final resolution is 3500x2474px.
In my opinion VRay is what offers better cost benefits with rendertime vs quality for stills. :D

Absolutely stunning. I like the curtains, they look like the ones that em..close together like a fan. The trees though look a little out of place, a little too clean and in order in my opinion, or maybe the lighting is off. The couches might need a little spiffing up though. Maybe a pillow or a throw over? Although it makes it more plausible, I don't like the mismatching of the wood on the chair and coffee table. In the back kitchen/break fast area it seems a little too plain, like some zombie robot who cleans obsessively to make things shine ;P. Other than that, I like the rug and the modern appearence of it all.

The very back corner, the line shading is a bit heavy, other than that superb rendering.
